Re: Cutting but cant make myself want to stop by seabreezeblue on Thu Jun 18, 2015 7:10 am
Hi and welcome to the site (:

Just popping by to say that I'm reading and that if you'd like to drop by the cutting and self injury forum, you'd be more than welcome over there.. it's quite busy and has a really supportive feel to it.
Blogs tend to be fairly quiet and most people use them just for personal reflection - or in my case, thoughts that don't quite fit elsewhere else.

xx

Come and post here- gambling-addiction/ You're welcome in the forum. Lots of other people have been through similar stuff. And know what it's like. How hard it is to get out of it. And that it IS possible to stop. You're not a failure in any sense. Gambling isn't easy to stop. It's a heck of an addiction to deal with.

Mostly these blogs are used for journalling. And our discussions and support goes on in the forum. It's easier to keep track of conversations there. :) Keep posting.

Re: Bad trip , anexity disorder , panic disorder by ILookJustLikeMe on Fri Apr 24, 2015 9:02 pm
I don't really have any advice. I just wanted to say, " hang in there". I know you are afraid, and very uncertain. I also used to suffer from panic attacks. They are so scary! And the sad thing is, it causes panic when you worry about having a panic attack. I honestly would reach out for help. You don't have to suffer alone. There is help out there. It almost sounds like what my brother went through. He was diagnosed with schizophrenia. He is on medication, and receives therapy, so he is doing very well these days. Good luck...please get professional help.

You're welcome here, GJ. Come and read and post in obsessive-compulsive/ ? There are lots of people there with similar stories. And talking to people with similar stuff going on can be powerful. You don't need a diagnosis or anything.

obsessive-compulsive/topic103176.html is a good place to start reading. It explains about the checking and anxiety. And gives some options for working on this. It takes time but things can get better.

We don't use blogs very much for conversation. :D Because it's very hard to remember where you've posted [except in your own blog.] So mostly we do chat in the forums. Maybe post there what you've said above? And reply to other people too. That's a good way to get to know people. And start to build up support.
